‘Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness… give me truth’
I finally saw ‘into the wild’ yesterday, and fuck, i was moved. Based on the book by Jon Krakauer, this true story was brought to the big screen by sean penn. A real-life drama id compare to the likes of ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ and ‘Reign over me’, this movie is a must. And being the Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam fame) fan that i am, i loved the soundtrack.
I pray that in my children(if i ever have any) i can ingrain the sort of character that is represented here. I hope we find the truth too, and survive it…

Great movie indeed. I hadn’t realised the lyrics were also so apt; I was kind of tuned in to the enormous scenery and the sadness in the story.

the movie moved me also…in my thoughts - i’m going back over and over to the story, which is showed in the movie. I’m happy there is someone else who feels the same. Vedder suits perfectly! Graet idea to make this web. Best wishes for you!
